Owner, Chief Executive Officer
Ali Jahangiri grew up in Southern California where he attended UC Irvine and Loyola Law School. After graduating law school, he served as a securities attorney at Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth where he practiced for two years.
Jahangiri then left the practice of law and decided to build online communities in the fields of health care and law, which provided access to information online; these information online communities were later acquired in 2009 and 2011 respectively.
In 2012, Jahangiri launched Eb5investors using a similar community concept and a conference series which predominately connects business to business. A few years later, Jahangiri launched Uglobal Immigration Magazine which provides similar services in the global immigration industry. As a result of these investment immigration media businesses, Jahangiri has serviced an extensive list of clients in the industry and has created a public forum for businesses in the space to interact.
Jahangiri also consults in the investment immigration industry and has been working as a professional in the real estate industry for over 15 years. He has been advising developers, regional centers and helping the EB-5 industry grow in many ways. He has spent a decade connecting industry folks with needed information and knowledge.
Jahangiri is actively involved with non-profits and he sits on the Loyola Law School Board of Overseers in Los Angeles. He also works on non-profit interests with Dental Care for Kids which helps children receive free dental care.
Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer
Kristi Carlson currently serves as the Vice President, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer for Eb5 Investors. Kristi oversees the firm’s operational accounting, and leads the production of financial reports, maintains the accounting system, credit control, and manages cash flow for Eb5 Investors, Uglobal and Hotels Magazine. As part of the corporate management and leadership team, Kristi develops and implements the firm’s financial strategic planning decisions. She is responsible for developing the annual budget and prepares financial forecasts, ensuring the fiscal welfare of the firm. Kristi also works on various EB-5 business ventures and serves as the Project Controller, where she provides financial analysis and project reporting. Her involvement and financial expertise are two critical factors that ensure the firm’s high-quality work and project success.
Corporate and Finance Advisor
Peter advises clients on a broad array of complex corporate, debt, equity, and finance matters such as fund formations of all types, mid-market M&A deals, stock and asset transactions, syndications, and private placements. He represents investors, developers, investment funds, joint venture operators, sponsors, private equity firms, lenders, entrepreneurs, family offices, and other sophisticated clients. Peter has extensive experience in all aspects of the real estate industry, helping his clients strategically structure investment vehicles of all types, including EB-5 financing, joint ventures, partnerships, and investment funds, for the acquisition, development, and disposition of property across all major asset classes. He brings a strong finance background to his practice and routinely executes various traditional and nontraditional real estate finance deals.

Michael Kester is a Partner and Lead EB-5 Economist with Impact DataSource, an economic research, analysis and consulting firm based in Austin, TX. In the past thirty years, Impact DataSource has completed more than 2,500 economic impact analyses in all industry sectors across the United States for firms, projects and activities. Leveraging this deep experience in economic analysis, Impact DataSource has become an EB-5 industry leader in economic studies, and targeted employment area (TEA) analysis.
Impact DataSource has prepared more than 600 comprehensive EB-5 economic analyses, has assisted dozens of clients in obtaining regional center designation and has secured more than a thousand TEA certifications. Impact DataSource continues to focus on providing EB-5
consulting, services, deliverables and public tools that reflect the evolving needs of EB-5 clients and the changing requirements of USCIS. Michael has been voted as a “Top EB-5 Economist” by the industry (based on the EB-5 Investors Magazine poll). Michael is on the Invest in the USA (IIUSA) EB-5 editorial committee, offering the economist’s perspective and authoring several articles for the Regional Center Business Journal. Michael has a Mathematics degree from Kansas State University.
