Continued progress is being made at Casa Doa, as the development moves steadily forward through several phases. The following is a summary of recent advancements across the property:
Site Infrastructure
- All primary roads throughout the property have been constructed and rough-graded, establishing foundational access for future phases.
- Initial storm drainage systems have been partially installed, enhancing water management and contributing to long-term site stabilization.
Casitas & Residential Development
- Architectural plans for the new casitas have been completed and are ready for formal submittal to the county. The updated designs align with the overall vision for the project.
- A redesign of the drainage system for the new casitas has also been finalized. The new plan improves long-term performance and reduces development costs. This marks the final element of the civil engineering package under county review.
Existing Structures
- The permit for the Pima House has been finalized and is ready to be issued, enabling construction work to begin shortly.
- Roof reconstruction is currently underway for the Carmen and Zuni Houses (existing casitas), with improvements focused on both structural integrity and aesthetics.
Amenities & Spa Village
- The Spa Village redesign is nearing completion. It incorporates updates to improve guest flow, increase privacy, and enhance wellness experiences throughout the amenity areas.
Operational & Pre-Development Efforts
- Third-party plan reviewers are being interviewed to support a more efficient approval process and help maintain steady progress with the county.
- Construction pricing evaluations are ongoing to refine budgets and explore cost-effective strategies, while maintaining quality standards.
